Qualifications/Requirements:
The position is located at AFLCMC/ESG, Hanscom AFB, MA. The incumbent will provide security technical expertise in developing and ensuring security requirements are met by all parties. Protection requirements are implemented and properly documented in Program Protection Plans, Security Classification Guides, Anti-Tamper Plans, Security Instructions, and Transportation Plans. Responsible for verifying/validating adequate protection of Government property, classified and/or Controlled Unclassified Information.
To serve as an acquisition security specialist, providing expert technical advice in the complex area of security for special access programs; classification management program; security violations; security education and awareness training; and security surveys and special programs security inspections for assigned programs.

Obtain maintain a Security clearance.
This is not a remote or full time telework position. Telework is limited to ad hoc/situational in coordination with the supervisor. The primary duties will be performed within a classified facility.
This position requires travel.
Plans, organizes, and directs acquisitions security for assigned directorate programs/activities, its facilities and acquisition program systems, that support advanced or special programs and SCI material, at contractor and other government locations ensuring that all elements of protection complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs throughout the program.
Implements the Program Protection and Technology Assessment and Control Program. Works with intelligence agencies to determine threat, identify vulnerabilities, analyze risk, and apply cost/benefit countermeasures as deemed necessary. Implements the OPSEC program. Integrates security into the acquisition process by providing acquisition security input to the requirement and contractual program documentation.
