MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Acquisition Security Analyst I to join our team in El Segundo, CA .
In this role, you will help the Government Program Manager develop and implement comprehensive program protection methodologies to protect advanced technology programs throughout the system's lifecycle. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth lifecycle program analysis to identify critical program information (CPI), Critical System Resources (CSR), and associated vulnerabilities.
- Assist with the identification and implementation of effective countermeasures to mitigate identified risks.
- Develop and implement risk management-based program protection plans and strategic security frameworks.
- Provide technical advice and operational security support to collateral, Special Access Programs (SAP), and emerging mission areas.
- Deliver security recommendations to Program Managers and security authorities regarding Air Force acquisition and sustainment processes.
- Maintain working relationships with stakeholders to ensure standardized utilization of DD Form 254 efforts throughout the program lifecycle.
- Prepare, review, and edit key security documentation including Security Classification Guides (SCG), Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), and OPSEC plans.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 4+ years of related experience supporting acquisition programs, including a minimum of 2 years with SCI or SAR programs.
- Must be familiar with government security policies, manuals, and applicable ICDs, JAFANs, or DoD guidelines.
- Must have extensive knowledge of the DD Form 254 and its practical integration into the Air Force acquisition process.
- Must have a strong understanding of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) markings, classifications, and distribution statements.

- High degree of initiative, originality, and creativity while working with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel within the Program’s Area of Responsibility (AOR) via air and ground transportation.
Clearance Requirements
- Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
- Must maintain eligibility for access to Special Access Program (SAP) information.
- Willingness to submit to a polygraph.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working in secure areas.
