MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Acquisition Security Analyst - II to join our team in El Segundo, CA .
In this role, you will assist the Government Program Manager with the development and implementation of comprehensive program protection methodologies to protect advanced technology programs throughout the system’s lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth lifecycle program analysis to identify Critical Program Information (CPI), Critical System Resources (CSR), and associated vulnerabilities.
- Develop, write, and implement risk management-based Program Protection Plans (PPP), OPSEC plans, transition plans, emergency action plans, and security CONOPS.
- Provide technical advice, security guidance, and classification support for collateral, SAP programs, and emerging mission areas.
- Coordinate between Air Force security authorities and Mission Partner security authorities to support acquisition and sustainment lifecycle activities.
- Maintain working relationships with PMs, Contracting Officers, and contractor security officers to ensure standardized DD Form 254 execution.
- Conduct foreign intelligence threat analysis against critical research, sensitive technologies, and CPI to produce real-time analytical products.
- Review program documentation for public release, ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) features proper markings and distribution statements per Air Force doctrine.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent additional experience (4 years).
- 10+ years of related experience with acquisition programs and experience supporting SCI or SAR programs.
- Strong familiarity with security policy manuals, appropriate ICDs, JAFANs, DoD Manuals, and guiding policy documents.
- Extensive knowledge of DD Form 254 creation, integration, and management within the Air Force acquisition process.
- Demonstrated experience assessing threat and risk to implement long-term courses of action and risk management strategies.
- Proven ability to write, review, and edit Security Classification Guides (SCG), Exposure Contingency Plans (ECP), and Security Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of direct experience with SAR program acquisitions.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic environment with DoD, military, civilian personnel, and industry partners.
- Willingness to travel via air and ground transportation within the Scope of the Program’s Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Clearance Requirements:
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- Must possess eligibility for access to Special Access Program (SAP) Information.
- Must be willing to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- This position operates in a standard closed-area office environment with a regular schedule of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, approximately, based on program needs.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- The candidate needs to occasionally move about inside the office environment to access file cabinets, office machinery, and interact with team members.
- There are no telework or hybrid schedule options available for this role.
