Position Summary
Evergreen (Pipeline) RequisitionThis requisition is used to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for future opportunities. While there may not be an immediate opening, candidates will be considered as positions become available based on their qualifications and program needs.Odyssey is seeking experienced Acquisition Program Engineers (Systems, Mechanical, and Software) to join our talent community for anticipated opportunities supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Armament Directorate and other Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs.Our Engineers support the government with designing, developing, integrating, and sustaining complex weapon systems and associated technologies across the full acquisition lifecycle. This includes systems engineering, mechanical design and analysis, and software development activities to ensure systems meet performance, reliability, and mission requirements.
Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:Support engineering activities across all phases of the DoD acquisition lifecycle (Materiel Solution Analysis through Operations & Support) Perform systems engineering, mechanical engineering, or software engineering functions depending on area of expertise Support requirements development, analysis, traceability, and verification Conduct system design, integration, and technical analysis activities Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, interface documents, and engineering reports Support technical reviews (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR) and program milestone activities Collaborate with program management, logistics, test, and cybersecurity teams to ensure integrated system performance Analyze system performance and recommend design or process improvements Support risk identification, analysis, and mitigation planningProvide technical input to acquisition documentation and program decision-making
