Accounts Receivable Specialist

Accounting & Finance Recruiter (direct hire, contract to hire, and contract type placements)

Responsibilities of this AR Specialist include:

• Full cycle accounts receivable.
• Retrieve checks for payment and conduct necessary research.
• Send customer invoices and mail credit applications.
• Generate credits and invoices.
• Reconcile payments to open receivables, adjust and bill as necessary.
• Manage aging receivables by calling past-due accounts and sending demand letters for outstanding balances.
• Create credit invoices.
• Send monthly customer statements.
• Update customer accounts as needed.
• File collection claims for accounts in default.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attentive to details, and excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills.
