Key responsibilities Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts to drive collection of past-due balances through various communication methods Serve as the primary contact for sales representatives regarding customer payment status and resolve any related issues or disputes Prepare and issue collection statements and reports, while maintaining detailed notes on all account interactions Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a comparable credit/billing role Working knowledge of ERP and AR systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and intermediate Excel skills Hands-on experience with full-cycle accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and account reconciliation Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage difficult conversations while preserving customer relationships
