The role will be based in our Pawtucket, RI headquarters reporting to our Senior AR Manager – Services.You'll be utilizing your passion for our mission and ability to connect with people to:Manage a dedicated regional aging to identify and resolve delinquent accountsMaintain aging reports with timely and accurate status updates; notifying Operations and Account Management of disputes of critical accountsIdentify and propose action for uncollectable debt in the form of demand letters, collection agency submission and write-off recommendationsRecognize and communicate billing adjustments, cooperating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepanciesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to identify areas of improvement, leading to improved DSO and reduced riskFocus on a proactive approach to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change in a fast-paced environmentAssist with answering accounting phone calls and related special projects, as requiredWhat you'll need to do it:Collections experience working in a fast-paced, high volume corporate collections environmentStrong verbal and written communication and excellent interpersonal skillsKnowledge of accounting principles and practicesComfortable utilizing multiple platforms to obtain client informationSelf-disciplined to work independently with minimal supervision, manage time effectively and consistently meets goals and deadlinesHands on experience generating detailed reports, validating and interpreting complex data to solve business challengesStrong Microsoft Excel skills, a plusOrganized, detailed and able to multi-task in a high paced environment in a growing companyWhat we offer:As a company, Encore is hyper-focused on developing a culture that thrives on success and is energized by the fact that we get to make peoples' lives better and safer each day.
