Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- The Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage incoming payments, issues customer invoices, and helps maintain accurate financial records
- Recording checks, ACH transfers, wire payments and matching them to the correct customer accounts
- Checking financial records to resolve discrepancies, missing invoices or short payments
- Reviewing aging reports and contacting clients via phone or email regarding overdue balances
- Answering client questions about billing, statements or payment history
Preferred Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Prior experience or education in accounting, accounts receivable, billing, bookkeeping or administration
- Experience using accounting software
Salary: $45,000-$50,000
