The offered base compensation may vary depending on factors including location, local market data and your unique skills, and experience Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay.As an Accounts Receivable Specialist I with us, you'll own a book of accounts while working in a fast-paced environment, primarily supporting our Collections needs. You'll balances daily and month end accounts receivable to general ledger balances and investigate outstanding invoices, making collection calls, negotiating payment terms, and processing liens for collections, when necessary.What You'll Be Doing Essential Functions:Responsible for accounts receivable collections, communicating with customers about payment confirmations, maintaining department email inbox, billing discrepancies and questions; working with the customer service department to resolve discrepanciesEnters data into accounts receivable general ledger accountsDaily - Processing Customer Credit Card PaymentsAs Needed – Review Billing records to research double pay issues or billing errors which cause delay in paymentCollect on all open AR for assigned part of the alphabetCash postingCommunicating with customers and internal staff to resolve invoice dispute issues.Monitoring credit department email inboxProcessing customer credit applications; Credit Reference Check and D&B ReportsOther AR projects as requested by ManagerWhat We'd Like to See from You Required:High School graduate or GEDHigh level of motivation, strong work ethic and ability to prioritizeEffective interpersonal skillsComfortable working cross functionally with other teams/departmentsHighly Desired:1-3 years' experience in collections processes and A/R cycleExcellent aptitude with Math and Excel (Equations, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)Basic understanding of principles of Finance and AccountingInterested but Concerned You're Not Qualified?
