Accounts Receivable SpecialistA vibrant, busy, and growing full-service law firm with over 115 attorneys is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its Finance team in Lake Success, NY. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial success of the firm while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the accounts receivable portfolio for assigned client accountsProcess and post cash receipts and transactions accurately and timelyMaintain daily cash tracking and prepare cash reportsInvestigate and reconcile client account discrepancies, deductions, and chargebacksCoordinate with internal teams to resolve high-risk or problematic accountsPrepare periodic reports and analyses related to accounts receivable metricsMaintain and enhance positive relationships with clients and external contactsNavigate client and vendor websites/portals for account management tasksPerform additional duties and projects as assignedQualifications3-5 years of experience in Accounts ReceivableStrong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and general record-keeping systemsLaw firm experience highly preferred, but not requiredHigh attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProactive, collaborative, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentCompetitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including:Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Time Off (PTO)Additional wellness and employee assistance programsOpportunity to grow within a well-established and reputable law firmSupportive team environment that values professional development and collaboration
