Accounts Receivable SpecialistThe Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and account reconciliation. This role will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and strong customer relationships. In addition, the position will support efficient financial operations by monitoring outstanding balances, resolving discrepancies, and providing clear communication regarding account activity.Responsibilities:Process accounts and incoming payments with precision, adhering to established financial policies and procedures.Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.Resolve outstanding receivables by thoroughly analyzing customer payment terms, history, and creditworthiness.Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits with accuracy and efficiency to expedite revenue collection.Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are meticulously accounted for and accurately posted.Resolve billing discrepancies identified by clients and provide exceptional customer service.Facilitate timely invoice payments by sending clear and concise bill reminders and proactively contacting clients.Generate comprehensive financial statements and reports that provide insightful details on the current and historical status of accounts receivable.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a closely related field.Demonstrate a proven track record of success in an Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable Manager, or Accountant role.Possess strong operational experience with spreadsheets and accounting software applications.Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in accurate and efficient data entry.Prior experience utilizing QuickBooks is a significant plus.Experience working within a major retail environment is preferable.Possess exceptional written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.
