Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a well-established, third-generation, family-owned wholesale distribution company with over 65 years of success.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented, motivated accounting professional who enjoys working with customers, managing receivables, and taking ownership of the collections process.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, customer payments, and collections activities.
• Proactively contact customers regarding outstanding invoices and overdue balances.
• Monitor AR aging reports and customer credit limits.
• Process payments, apply cash, and maintain accurate account records.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Collaborate with sales and accounting teams to support collection efforts.
• Assist with month-end reporting and AR reconciliation activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or a related accounting function.
• Strong communication skills and confidence making outbound collection calls.
• Experience with cash application, account reconciliation, and AR aging.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• ERP system experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities. xhqgsiq
