Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Amelia, OH. This role will focus on billing, accounts receivable, collections, and cash receipts, including processing deposits and posting payments. The ideal candidate has strong accounting experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of invoices, particularly during peak season.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage accounts receivable activities, including monitoring outstanding balances and maintaining accurate customer accounts.
- Perform collections follow-up with customers to resolve past-due balances and ensure timely payments.
- Process cash receipts, prepare deposits, and accurately post customer payments.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account inquiries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support account reconciliations as needed.
- Manage high-volume billing demands, processing 1,000+ invoices per month during peak season (April–November).
- Utilize ERP systems, including ComputerEase and Vista, to process transactions and maintain financial data.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on accounts receivable, billing, and collections.
- Experience processing high volumes of invoices and customer payments.
- Proficiency in cash receipts, deposit processing, and payment posting.
- Experience with ERP systems; ComputerEase and/or Vista preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
