Accounts Receivable Representative

Managing the accounts receivable process, the full-time Virginia AR Representative will oversee claim processing, denial management, and resolution of issues while collaborating with physician practices and ensuring compliance with best practices. Key responsibilities Manage accounts receivable, analyzing aged AR and implementing rules to prevent errors Investigate and resolve claim denials, including contacting payer representatives as needed Serve as an escalation point for issues and collaborate with practice consultants to optimize revenue cycle functionality Required qualifications High School Graduate 5+ years of experience in a physician medical billing office or equivalent claims experience Understanding of revenue cycle performance drivers and complex claim resolution Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas Experience with Salesforce for case management preferred
