Location: San Diego, CA (Hybrid- 3 days onsite)
Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 + Bonus + Equity
Overview:
A publicly traded organization is seeking an experienced AR Manager to oversee accounts receivable accounting operations, month-end close activities, internal controls, audit support, and process improvement initiatives. This role will partner cross-functionally across finance and operations while supporting a complex, multi-entity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounts receivable accounting and month-end close activities
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analyses
- Support SOX compliance, internal controls, and external audits
- Manage billing, invoicing, and AR-related operational processes
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives
Desired Qualifications:
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable and order-to-cash processes
- Experience with month-end close, xhqgsiq reconciliations, and SOX controls
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience in a large, complex organization preferred
- ERP and account reconciliation software experience preferred
- CPA is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
