Accounts Receivable Clerk

LHH is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk for an aviation-related organization in the Litchfield Park, Arizona area. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong cash application experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments accurately and timely through daily cash application activities
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and account variances
• Process ACH, wire, credit card, and check payments
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate outstanding balances
• Work closely with customers and internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
• Assist with collections efforts and account follow-up as needed
• Maintain accurate records within the accounting system
• Support month-end close activities, reporting, and account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Hands-on cash application experience required
• Prior accounting experience within the aviation or aerospace industry strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of AR processes, account reconciliation, and payment research
• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy
