Accounts Receivables CoordinatorWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivables Coordinator to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for the accurate application of cash receipts within accounts receivable and promptly resolving customer billing and account issues. This position requires strong communication skills, a high degree of organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform daily/monthly reconciliations to ensure timely receipt of paymentsAccurately post payments received by customers and finance companiesProcess refunds to customers and finance companiesWork with internal and external parties to resolve funding and customer account issuesResearch and respond to credit card disputesResearch, identify, and reconcile customer billing and account issuesProvide support to customer service regarding customer billing and account issuesCoordinate collections efforts of past due amounts to minimize bad debt lossAssist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, as neededAssist with preparations for new store openings as neededComplete any other duties assigned by ManagementThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.This position takes place in an office environment.Ability to sit for long periods.RequirementsQualifications needed to perform this position:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or 2+ years accounting experienceAccounts receivable experience preferred.
Experience with customer financing is a major advantage.Ability to apply logical problem-solving techniquesStrong analytical/critical thinking skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFirm understanding of accounting principles/functionsPossess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Especially Excel)Maintain precise records and strong attention to detailHighly motivated, driven, organizedThis is a full-time position, with regular working hours based on the needs of the business.This job description is intended to convey information essential to understanding the scope of this position.
