Supporting financial operations for commercial and federal government contracts, the full-time Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist will manage daily transaction processing, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate financial records in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Assist in preparing and submitting invoices, tracking receivables, and maintaining accurate records for accounts receivable Process vendor and subcontractor invoices, validate against contract terms, and support timely payments for accounts payable Maintain organized financial records, reconcile invoices and payments, and assist in financial reporting and compliance documentation Required qualifications Associates or undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting support Strong understanding of AP invoice processing, AR billing, and GL accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks Online, Deltek Costpoint, or Unanet Experience supporting commercial and federal government project accounting and contracts is preferred
