Accounts Receivable & Collections CoordinatorA construction company is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable & Collections Coordinator to join their finance team. In this role, you'll own the full AR cycle — from issuing invoices and tracking payments to following up on collections and reconciling AIA billings against change orders. It's a great fit for a recent accounting grad eager to break into construction finance, or someone who already knows their way around the industry.Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & InvoicingPrepare and issue accounts receivable invoices for non-AIA billingReview monthly AIA billings against approved change orders to verify all billable work is capturedCollections & Payment TrackingPerform daily collections follow-up with customers on outstanding and overdue invoicesMaintain and update collections spreadsheets and logs to track balances and payments receivedProcess daily check deposits, including scanning, saving electronic copies, and updating logsRecordkeeping & AdministrationMaintain organized electronic records of payments, invoices, and supporting documentationAssist with additional accounting and administrative tasks as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredPrior experience in accounts receivable, collections, or construction accounting preferredFamiliarity with AIA billing and construction industry processes a plusAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills required — formulas, spreadsheet management, reporting, and data trackingStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsProfessional communication skills, particularly around collections and payment follow-upAbility to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentInterested?
