Accounts Payable SupervisorHydraulics International, Inc (HII) seeks an Accounts Payable Supervisor responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payments expense reimbursements, managing the company credit card/reconciliation and compliance with company policies and internal controls. This role manages the AP team, supports month-end close activities, and drives improvement processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Key Performance Deliverables:Manage the full-cycle accounts payable processing, including invoice receipts, coding, and paymentEnsure accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, ACH payments, wire transfers, and check runs.Review and approve vendor invoices for payment, ensuring that all supporting documentation is complete and accurateMonitor AP aging reports and resolve outstanding vendor issues.Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating payment terms and resolving disputesMonitor and maintain accurate accounts payable records, including vendor files and payment historyReview and approve invoices, payment requests, and journal entries related to accounts payable.Prepare and review AP accruals and related journal entries.Supervise and mentor a team of accounts payable professionals, including setting goals and objectives, providing feedback and coaching, and evaluating performanceCollaborate with other departments, such as Purchasing, Receiving, and Quality Assurance on past-due receipts and invoicesImplement and maintain controls to ensure the integrity and efficiency of the accounts payable processPrepare and analyze accounts payable reports for management reviewStay current on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable managementRequirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable management, preferably in a manufacturing settingStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft OfficeExperience with purchasing and procurement processes a plusWe offer competitive compensation & benefits package:Medical, Dental, Vision, & Life InsurancePTO401KSalary Expectations: $73K - $85KHII headquartered in Chatsworth, California, U.S.A., is a leading supplier of integrated products, services and support to military forces, aviation and commercial industries, Government agencies and prime contractors worldwide.
