Accounts Payable SpecialistIn this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining vendor relationships and owning our full cycle accounts payable processes. This also includes providing additional accounts payable support to the Accounting Team. We're looking for a highly-organized, accountable team player who operates with efficiency, urgency, and discipline.What You'll Do:Create and update vendorsManage accounts payable transactionsReview expense reports and ensure completion of the packageEnforce compliance and payment process for vendors and subcontractorsAnswer vendor inquires related to AP matters and reconcile discrepanciesMaintain, track all W-9's and responsible for year end 1099 filingPerform periodic review of AP agingReconcile corporate credit card by making sure all receipts are collected and payments are made on timeAssist in the periodic cash projection processProvide support to accounting department and operation teamMaintain compliance with internal accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and thorough documentationOther duties as assigned by supervisorWhat You'll Bring:Minimum 1 years experience in Accounts PayableStrong organizational skills with excellent attention to detailHigh level of professionalism, ethics, and trustworthiness in handling confidential information with discretionExperience with accounting software packages, Spectrum, a plusWhat We'll Provide:Medical, Dental and Vision insurance in accordance with plan guidelines.Safeharbor 401K plan with quarterly company match.Up to 3 weeks of PTO per year.10 Paid Holidays per year.Company paid life insurance.Company bonus planAbout Us:Uprite Construction was established in 1991 as a multi-service construction company specializing in project site development, ground-up, new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements for the commercial and industrial sectors.
