Accounts Payable SpecialistFinance and Accounting – Virginia Beach, VAThe Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments in support of CBN's global ministry operations. This role ensures financial integrity, strong vendor relationships, and efficient payment practices, contributing to the overall stewardship of resources. Serving in this position facilitates ministry activities and contributes to CBN's Biblical mission to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ worldwide.The salary range for this position is $38,000-$42,000 annually.

Final compensation within this range will be determined based on a combination of education, relevant experience, and demonstrated skills aligned with the role requirements.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experienceWorking knowledge of accounts payable processes, procedures, and internal controlsUnderstanding of basic accounting principles and best practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (sorting formulas, and data management), and ability to learn new financial systemsExperience with ERP systems (Epicor or similar)Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and financial processingEffective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal staff and external vendorsStrong customer service orientation with a collaborative and solutions-focused approachExcellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlinesDemonstrated life application of Biblical principles and practices in alignment with CBN's nonprofit Christian missionCBN is a global nonprofit ministry demonstrating the love of God by sharing the Gospel through digital content, traditional media, and humanitarian aid.
