Join us in embodying these values.The Accounts Receivable Specialist position at Kings River Packing, LP supports the Accounting department by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. This role is responsible for maintaining organized and current vendor records, verifying invoice coding and approvals, and ensuring compliance with company policies and tax requirements.

The Accounts Payable Specialist contributes to the overall efficiency of financial operations by providing accurate documentation, clear communication with vendors, and reliable support to the accounting team.What You'll DoMaintain accurate and current vendor account informationOrganize, review, and code invoices for payment processingProcess vendor payments weekly and as needed throughout the weekMaintain filing of paid invoices for document retentionReview and code monthly credit card statementsVerify proper sales tax charges on vendor invoicesMatch invoices with appropriate backup documentationObtain proper approvals prior to paymentReview vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesPrepare vendor credit applicationsPerform other work-related duties and projects as directedWhat We're Looking For2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferredHigh school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAlignment with the company's mission and core valuesTeam-oriented, service-focused attitudeFlexibility in duties and assignmentsAbility to work occasional overtime as neededPhysical Demands & AbilitiesAbility to sit for extended periods working on a computer or phone.Occasionally required to lift and move items weighing up to 20 pounds.Onsite work schedule: Monday – Friday, with flexibility as business needs require.Our BenefitsSalary range $25.00 - $30.00 /hour, DOE.Medical, dental, and vision coverage.Generous paid time off, 48 hours sick leave and 8 paid holidays.401k with 4% matching after 1 year service.Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Medical and Dependent Care options.Onsite team building.
