Accounts Payable SpecialistNextStep Recruiting has partnered with a global manufacturing organization to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist in Grand Prairie, TX. This contract-to-hire opportunity will begin fully onsite for training before transitioning to a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote.This position is ideal for an experienced AP professional who is comfortable working in a high-volume environment, has strong three-way matching experience, and can efficiently research and resolve invoice discrepancies while maintaining a high level of accuracy.Required:Experience processing high-volume Accounts Payable, including approximately 150+ invoices per dayStrong three-way matching experience, including researching discrepancies, reconciliations, debit/credit memos, and expense codingIntermediate to advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, formatting, and reportingExperience working within a robust ERP environmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced workloadPreferred:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or actively pursuing; Associate's degree in Accounting may also be consideredOracle experienceBilingual English/SpanishExposure to journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, financial statements, bank reconciliations, or fixed assetsManufacturing industry experience and/or exposure to foreign currency transactionsIf you're looking for an opportunity to join a global organization, expand your accounting experience beyond traditional AP, and potentially transition into a long-term position, we'd love to connect.NextStep Recruiting provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, or applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location where the company has facilities.
