If this sparks your interest, you're in the right place.Our Accounting team has an opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist in our Omaha office.Position SummaryAs an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

In this position, you will review data entry and general ledger coding for invoices across assigned offices, process accounts payable transactions, and audit expense reports. You will also be responsible for vendor setup and maintaining vendor records, as well as recording and verifying numerical data to maintain accurate accounting records.This is a great opportunity for someone who values precision, consistency, and contributing to the success of a collaborative finance team!What You Will DoProcess invoices for payment on a weekly basisPost accounts payable transactionsAudit expense reports and process payments on a biweekly basisReview and correct invoices, including job costing and consultant invoicesMaintain and update vendor records in Deltek VantagepointImport data, when applicable, to support accurate job costing and timely paymentsProcess, reconcile, and audit petty cash reimbursements for officesAssist employees and vendors by answering questions related to accounts payable proceduresAd hoc projects as assignedRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience in an accounts payable roleKnowledge of general accounting practicesDynamic and collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to shifting priorities and ambiguity in a high-growth companyProactive with a proven ability to work effectively and independently, with excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailExceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and meaningful relationships with diverse stakeholdersMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipPreferred QualificationsExperience using Deltek Vantagepoint softwareExperience in an accounts payable function within a consulting A/E firmVisa sponsorship is not offered for this position, including temporary visas such as E, F-1 (including OPT and CPT), TN, J, H-1B, or those who need employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.DLR Group is an integrated design firm delivering architecture, engineering, interiors, planning, and building optimization for new builds, renovations, and adaptive reuse projects.We are 100% employee-owned: every employee is literally invested in our clients' success.
