For those seeking dynamic opportunities, rewarding career paths and a chance to make a difference in global health, come grow with August!The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, vendor management, credit card reconciliations, and payment remittances.

This role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to work cross-functionally with purchasing, operations, and finance teams in a fast-growing environment.Key Responsibilities:Process vendor invoices accurately and on time, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentationMatch invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation (3-way match) where applicableReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerPerform monthly credit card reconciliations, including reviewing receipts, coding transactions, and resolving discrepancies with cardholdersSend payment remittances to vendors and respond to related inquiriesMaintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 collection and 1099 trackingRespond to vendor and internal inquiries professionally and in a timely mannerAssist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable, accruals, and credit card liabilitiesSupport internal controls and audit requests related to AP and expense processesIdentify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracyPerform other accounting and administrative duties as reasonably assignedQualifications:2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experienceProficiency with QuickBooks and AestivaStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentClear, professional written and verbal communication skillsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience consideredWork Environment & Physical Requirements: This position is primarily performed in an office setting at our Nashville facility. Occasional exposure to manufacturing areas may require adherence to site safety protocols.
