Accounting ClerkPerform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. Principle responsibilities include the following:Code expense invoices, obtain and verify invoice approvals, enter supplier down payment invoices.Resolve invoice discrepancies.Review and reconcile supplier statements.Correspond with suppliers and respond to inquiries.Assists with accrualsOther duties and special projects as assigned.Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience:Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required as well as a bachelor's degree is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.Experience: Minimum of 2+ years accounts payable experience.Proficient in data entry.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.Communication skills to interact professionally and effectively with management, suppliers and co-workers.Intermediate skill level in Excel.General knowledge of accounting procedures.This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:Work schedule generally consists of 40 hours per week, which may include on-call status, evenings, and/or weekends.Stolle Machinery Co, LLC retains and reserves any or all rights to change, modify, amend, add to or delete from any section of this document as it deems, in its judgment, to be proper.
