A well-established manufacturing company in North County San Diego is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to become a key member of its accounting team. Responsibilities
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processing
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices
• Process weekly ACH and check payment runs
• Maintain vendor master records and ACH setups
• Reconcile vendor statements, AP aging, and related balance sheet accounts
• Verify and reconcile corporate credit card transactions
• Track inbound, outbound, and warranty freight expenses
• Partner with purchasing, receiving, and vendors to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end accounting activities and annual 1099 reporting
Qualifications
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
• Experience processing high-volume invoices and managing vendor relationships
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• ERP system experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
• Manufacturing experience is a plus
