About the Opportunity

Addison Group is partnering with a well-established consumer products manufacturer in Baltimore to find an AP Reconciliation Specialist for a one-year contract. This role supports the Treasury and Credit teams during their busy season and is focused on cleaning up vendor accounts, resolving discrepancies, and making sure AP balances are accurate and well-documented. It's a great fit for someone who enjoys digging into the details and leaving a process better than they found it.


What You'll Do

  • Reconcile vendor accounts and investigate discrepancies between invoices, payments, credits, and balances
  • Review and resolve outstanding AP items, including aged invoices, unapplied payments, credits, and duplicate transactions
  • Perform detailed AP account reconciliations and account scrubs to ensure vendor balances are accurate
  • Research vendor activity and supporting documentation in SAP to resolve payment and invoice issues
  • Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and correct application of payments and credits
  • Partner with internal teams to investigate payment discrepancies and resolve outstanding vendor issues
  • Maintain accurate AP records with properly documented and supported reconciliations
  • Identify opportunities to clean up and improve AP processes, balances, and reporting


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of accounts payable or reconciliation experience
  • Retail industry experience (required)
  • Hands-on SAP experience (required)
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to research and problem solving
  • Comfort speaking up early when you hit a roadblock or need support
  • A habit of documenting processes and capturing institutional knowledge so it isn't lost
