Accounts Payable Processor

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Processor to join our team in Irvine, California for an onsite Contract assignment. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, comfortable working with financial data, and interested in building experience in accounts payable.

The role supports invoice processing activities, helps maintain weekly payment schedules, and works closely with the team to keep transactions accurate and on time.Responsibilities:• Enter and process monthly field invoices for assigned projects or business units with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.• Support weekly payment cycles by reviewing documentation and helping prepare check runs to meet scheduled deadlines.• Verify invoice details, organize records, and flag discrepancies for follow-up when needed.• Maintain clear and up-to-date files related to accounts payable transactions and supporting documents.• Communicate with internal team members to gather missing information and ensure invoices move through the process efficiently.• Use Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, to track invoice activity and assist with reporting or reconciliation tasks.• Assist with accounts payable work in systems such as Oracle, JDE, or Concur when applicable.• Follow established procedures and complete assigned tasks under guidance while learning day-to-day AP operations.
