Accounts Payable Manager

StevenDouglas is partnered with a high-growth services company to identify an Accounts Payable leader. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing, payment disbursements, vendor relationship management, AP-to-GL reconciliation, and audit support.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee invoice processing and GL coding across multiple legal entities within the ERP system, collaborating with operational and field finance teams to address coding discrepancies and approval workflows.
• Manage three-way match and approval routing within spend management and operations platforms, working closely with the procurement team to resolve purchase order and receipt variances.
• Direct and execute multi-method payment runs — including ACH, check, and card — through the company’s banking and spend management platforms, partnering with treasury to optimize payment timing and cash positioning.
• Own and maintain vendor master data across ERP and spend management systems, acting as the primary escalation point for vendor inquiries, payment disputes, and relationship management.
• Reconcile the AP subledger to the general ledger within the ERP on a regular basis to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate responses to internal and external audit requests related to accounts payable processes, documentation, and controls.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Accounts Payable professionals, fostering accountability and continuous improvement within the function. xhqgsiq
