We invite you to become part of Connecticut's most comprehensive healthcare network.Accounts Payable Manager of Supply Chain is responsible for leading the development, implementation and administration of a coordinated payable support system that operates efficiently.

Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following:Manages Accounts Payable. Includes, Customer Supplier Relations, and the Accounts Payable disbursement group which handles all check disbursements, 1099 and tax related matters for 3 ERP systems.Manages accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting; ensures accuracy and timeliness.Manages monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy of financial statements.Provides accounting assistance to project managers and operations staff; responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.Acts as a liaison between the company, government and external accountants to meet information needs and to ensure that proper information is maintained for historical purposes.QualificationsEducation:Bachelor's Degree in business, finance requiredMinimum Experience:5 plus years of Accounting experienceOne or more years of leadership experience.Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:Generally Accepted Accounting Principles1099 FilingERP AP SystemsStrong consultative, analytical, researching and problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skillsAble to effectively work with cross functional teams and other functions across the companyDetail oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to work independentlyStrong working experience and knowledge of internal control conceptsExperience with Financial close processDemonstrated ability to train staff for continuous improvementDemonstrated KPI Management experienceStrong leadership, communication (written and verbal) and influencing skillsWe take great care of careers.With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
