- Salary range- $95,000-120,000
Overview of the Accounts Payable Manager Role:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, providing training, coaching, and career growth opportunities
- Establish and monitor team goals, ensuring deadlines and service levels are consistently met
- Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, approvals, payment runs, and vendor management
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Review and streamline processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Manage vendor relationships, resolving discrepancies and negotiating terms when necessary
- Partner with procurement and other departments to ensure seamless operations and strong internal communication
- Implement best practices to improve accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of AP operations
- Leverage ERP systems and automation tools to enhance workflow and reporting.
- Provide leadership with timely reporting on AP metrics, cash flow, and expense trends
- Play a key role in supporting system upgrades and process transformation initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role
- Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processes, internal controls, and ERP systems
- Proven ability to lead teams, implement process improvements, and manage vendor relationships
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
