We currently operate two Elementary Schools and a Middle School, with more schools opening in the near future.Role DefinitionWe are seeking to grow our Accounts Payable functions by adding an Accounts Payable Coordinator to our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for our mission and an incredible attention to detail and execution.The Accounts Payable Coordinator provides back-office accounts support to the organization.
Reporting to the Payroll and Accounts Manager, the Accounts Payable Coordinator ensures all organizational spending records and vendor files are managed and documented smoothly and timely.ResponsibilitiesBookkeepingPrepares monthly invoices for meal and Afterschool Program payments.Codes and enters invoice, purchase order, credit card and reimbursement information into online purchasing system.Reviews vendor invoices, and scans and stores documents.Responds to school staff and vendor inquiries and requests for information.Verifies vendor accounts and maintains historical records in filing system.Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong belief in our mission to support all of our scholars to and through college.Strong attention to detail and ability to process data effectively, efficiently and with minimal errors.Strong organizational skills.Experience with data entry and online computer programs.Proven ability to meet and complete multiple tasks with firm deadlinesMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree preferred2 years experience in financial data records management preferredCommitment to DiversityEquitas Academy is actively seeking to build a diverse and experienced team of educators.
