Accounts Payable ClerkThe Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations while assisting with general accounting and financial processes. This role reports to the Controller and offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across accounting and business operations.Accounts Payable (Primary Focus): Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor paymentsMaintain and update vendor records in SAPReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesPrepare and process AP checks and wire paymentsAudit freight bills and prepare debit notes as neededMaintain accounts payable files and generate reportsAccounting & Operational Support: Assist with journal entries and account reconciliationsSupport monthly close activitiesAssist with inventory, sales, and gross margin reportingSupport commission calculations and invoicingPrepare weekly cycle count reportsPurchasing / Production Support: Generate purchase orders as neededAssist with issuing and receiving production ordersAdditional Responsibilities: Provide administrative support as neededCollaborate with internal teams and vendorsSupport various accounting and operational projectsQualifications 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting experienceBachelor's degree preferredStrong Excel skills requiredExperience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferredSkills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective communication and problem-solving skillsCompensation Salary: $41,000 – $43,000Work Environment & Physical Requirements Office-based role in Hackensack, NJOccasional lifting up to 10 pounds
