Accounts Payable AssociateLocation: Chicago, ILPay: $28 - $32 / hourBenefits: This role is eligible for medical, dental, vision and 401k.Job Description:Read and manage the of the AP mailboxesSort invoices (more than 100/day) and send for scanning.Review the workflow the following day to ensure all invoices sent for scanning are in the workflowPerform discrepancy researchMonitor and track incoming invoices that need to be flagged or escalated immediatelyProvide strong customer service to vendorsAnswer the inquiries received by internal and external customers (approximately 30/day).Take care of the AP mail and scan the invoices received in paper into processing workflow.Mail in-house checks to vendors.Archive invoices and manual wiresCall/email vendors with outstanding checks to confirm open balances.Assist with Month End Close as neededReview the AP invoice inbox for invoices relating to month end accrualsSkills: Basic knowledge of principles, practices, regulations, and procedures relating to accounts payable preferred1 + years of Work experience in the finance area is preferredBachelor's degree in finance, accounting or other related discipline preferredAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
