Accounts Payable AssistantThe Accounts Payable Assistant supports the Finance Department by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting vendor communications. This role is responsible for reviewing invoices, matching them to purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.Location: Camden, NJ (Onsite)Primary Responsibilities:Review vendor invoices for accuracy, including line item charges, discounts, and freight costsMatch invoices to purchase orders and ensure alignment with contract termsIdentify and correct invoice discrepancies in accordance with company policiesSchedule and process payments in a timely mannerResearch and resolve invoice issues and discrepancies with internal teams and vendorsCommunicate with vendors to respond to inquiries and provide updatesReconcile vendor statements and maintain accurate payment recordsTrack and complete accounts payable transactions, ensuring documentation accuracyMaintain organized and accurate financial records related to accounts payableSupport Finance and Accounting teams with additional tasks and projects as neededRequirements:High school diploma1–3 years of accounts payable experience, including purchase order matchingStrong attention to detail with a high level of accuracyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience with ERP systems or accounting software preferredFamiliarity with invoice reconciliation systems and purchase order workflows preferredExperience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferredA Generation Ahead by Design™ Investing in people who power the future.
