Accounts Payable Analyst
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Location: Hybrid – 2 days onsite in San Rafael, CA | 3 days remote
Pay: $35.00–$38.75/hour
Must-Have Qualifications
- At least 1 year of SAP Ariba experience
- Experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment (5,000+ invoices per month)
- 1–2 years of Accounts Payable experience
Responsibilities
- Process and review Accounts Payable transactions.
- Reconcile AP accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Investigate invoice and supplier issues and work with internal teams to resolve them.
- Submit and track IT tickets for system-related issues.
- Assist with month-end close and account reconciliations.
- Identify trends, resolve AP exceptions, and recommend process improvements.
- Provide backup support for the AP Mailbox Coordinator.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with SAP Ariba is required.
- Oracle and/or SAP ERP experience is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Education
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
