Accounts Payable Accountant

Responsible for processing and maintaining accounting data, the full-time GOS AP Accountant will manage accounts payable transactions, serve as a liaison for operations, and collaborate with finance teams in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Oversee and process accounts payable transactions within the accounting software system, ensuring accuracy and compliance Maintain a thorough understanding of general ledger accounts and coordinate the correction of coding errors Lead follow-up efforts on inquiries and outstanding invoices, providing data-driven insights for decision-making Required qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field Proficiency with accounting software systems, preferably Yardi Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Exceptional organizational and time management skills
