Accounts Payable AccountantIf you are driven to deliver exceptional fan experiences that are beyond anything possible elsewhere and interested in working alongside a team of innovators and enthusiastic over-achievers, you will enjoy working with us!Position OverviewThe Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for day-to-day accounts payable and expense functions.ResponsibilitiesCoding of ad-hoc payments and supplier invoices within accounting software systemsReview of expense reports and p-card transactions for accuracy and compliance with established company policiesThree-way match of receipts, purchase orders, and supplier invoicesVendor maintenance, including set-up and changesMonitoring and responding to suppliers and vendors via shared email inboxPrepare basic/standard journal entries, including recurring journal entries and month end accrualsPerform monthly balance sheet and account reconciliationsWork closely with multiple department leaders on their financial resultsAssist with analytical review of financial results and understand factors driving variancesContributing to the development and review of process documentation and internal controlsDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality.Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.Follow proper internal audit guidelinesActively supports and contributes to the department's commitment to diversity and inclusivenessOther Ad Hoc requests from the business or finance leadersPerform other duties as requiredIdeal Candidate Will PossessBS or BBA in accounting requiredExperience with Workday preferredCustomer service orientationExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writingAttention to detail and accuracyAdvanced Microsoft Office skills (primarily Excel)Ability to prioritize and manage expectationsAbility to work independently and in collaboration with others, in order to meet deadlinesThe Atlanta National League Baseball Club, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
