Partnering with Accounting, Finance, and Operations, the full-time Accounting Transformation Manager will modernize financial processes and enhance reporting efficiency while supporting ongoing growth initiatives, with a flexible hybrid or remote work arrangement preferred for candidates in the Detroit, MI or Birmingham, AL areas. Key responsibilities Analyze and improve existing accounting and finance processes to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities Lead the redesign and remediation of processes, ensuring compliance and supporting IPO readiness initiatives Oversee the implementation and enhancement of finance systems and reporting infrastructure, ensuring data reliability and auditability Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred 4-6 years of experience in financial accounting roles, with a preference for Big 4 public accounting or public company experience Strong understanding of accounting processes, internal controls, and experience supporting SOX and audit requirements Proficiency with ERP systems (Workday preferred) and extensive experience with Excel and Microsoft Suite
