nThe Accounting Supervisor is responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles. The ideal candidate also has experience collaborating with a team of accountant and others as assigned. The Accounting Supervisor requires 3 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contribution. The Accounting Supervisor supports the CFO in various accounting functions including, but not limited to the following responsibilities:
nREPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
nThe following responsibilities would characterize the requirements of this position. Must possess the skills necessary to perform the majority of the listed functions:
nSupporting the CFO with workflow process improvement and pursuing special projects
nOversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
nResponding to inquiries from CFO with various accounting and financial functions
nMonitoring and analyzing the financial department to develop more efficient procedures and proper use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
nCreative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
nParticipate in regular direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
nCreate and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation
nSummarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports
nComply with all federal, state, and local protocols including legal requirements
nPlay a vital part in the company's financial management which includes all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties
nCoordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
nMaintaining accurate financial records
nPrepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
nVerify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
nAnalyze financial information and summarize financial status
nParticipate in financial standards setting and in forecast process
nSupport month-end and year-end close process
nCreative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
nMonitor the daily performance of the accounting department
nMaking sure members of the accounting team meet all financial reporting deadlines
nHandling personnel issues that relate to absenteeism, staff performance, and staff conflict

nREQUIREMENTS:
nCompetencies
nBilingual in Mandarin is required
nMaster's or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 3+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience or related fields
nAdvanced working knowledge of accounting software and EPR System
nStrong written and verbal communication skills
nStrong organizational skills with great attention to detail
nStrong problem-solving skills
nAbility to work independently with little supervision
nAbility to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
nAbility to work under pressure and deal with complex issues
nAbility to meet a constant stream of deadlines

nFamiliarity with accounting software and programs
