Accounting Specialist

Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a full-time direct-hire Accounting Specialist with a client located in Tampa, FL!

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including reviewing, coding, and entering vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Apply incoming customer payments to appropriate accounts, maintaining accurate records and resolving payment discrepancies as needed.
• Prepare and process daily bank deposits, ensuring proper documentation and accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Perform credit card reconciliations, reviewing transactions, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring expenses are accurately recorded in the accounting system.
• Provide support with various accounting and administrative functions, including maintaining financial records, assisting with reconciliations, and completing additional accounting projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, with a solid understanding of general accounting processes and procedures.
• Previous accounting experience within a manufacturing environment or similar industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new accounting software and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in data entry, financial transactions, and recordkeeping. xhqgsiq
