Accounting Specialist

We pride ourselves on providing our clients with outstanding quality, value and customer service. We are currently looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position. The ideal candidate for this position is experienced in accounts payable and accounts receivable practices, and extremely detail oriented with a great work ethic.

Responsibilities:Input bills into QuickbooksFacilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clientsMaintain records of receivable via Printsmith software, apply payments and work on accounts receivable collectionsProcess accounts payable via Quickbooks and annual 1099'sProcess various types of accounts payable transactions and reconcile statementsPrepare and file monthly sales tax returnsEnsure timely processing of payroll with an outside companyRespond to vendor inquiries by phone or emailQualifications: Proven work experience in billing, collections, accounts receivable and accounts payableSolid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulationsProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting records and financial recordsProficiency data entry skillsHands-on experience in operating Excel spreadsheets and accounting softwareProficiency in English and in MS Office SuiteCustomer service orientation and negotiation skillsHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailEducation & Experience:College degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration, preferredThree plus years of experience in Accounts Payable /Accounts Receivable / Billing / CollectionsHours & Compensation:Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4pmCompensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hourAt AlphaGraphics, we offer careers for everyone!
