Accounting SpecialistThe Accounting Specialist is responsible for Product Portfolio accounting, Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses and Deferred Fees/Income. All duties are to be performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures.Portfolio Accounting Performing Journal Entries and Reconciliations for the products portfolioResponsible for the accounting related to products portfolioMonitor the revenue and expense accountsCommunications within the Credit Union to ensure timely posting of paymentsFixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses and Deferred Fees/Income Responsible for recording appropriate entriesUnderstanding the classification of expensesRun weekly fixed asset process and complete all monthly reconciliationsPerform other reconciliations per Credit Union PolicyParticipate in projects that would directly align with deskCollaborates within the department to support overall department goals and objectivesUpdate and maintain procedures and look for efficiencies in processesQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting preferredOne to Three years prior experience in Accounting a mustExperience in the Financial Services Industry a plusSalary Range: $24.46 - $36.69Service Excellence StandardsWhen joining Frontwave Credit Union, you can expect to be a part of a workforce committed to the following Service Excellence standards: We see it.
