Accounting Specialist

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to manage key accounting functions, including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, AP/AR, inventory, and financial analysis. This is a hands-on, on-site role working closely with finance, operations, procurement, and warehouse teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP, including invoices, POs, three-way matching, vendor reconciliations, and payments.
• Support AR, revenue recognition, billing, cash application, and collections.
• Perform month-end close, account reconciliations, AP accruals, and GL activities.
• Analyze inventory, costs, margins, and operational transactions.
• Use NetSuite/ERP systems and Excel to build reports, reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Partner with operations, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong GL, month-end close, AP, and reconciliation experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition.
• Experience in an inventory-driven environment such as distribution, healthcare, pharmacy, manufacturing, e-commerce, wholesale, or 3PL.
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred; comparable ERP experience considered.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and large-data analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• CPA or CPA candidacy is a plus.
