Our client is a stable, profitable, private-equity-backed organization seeking a hands-on Accounting Specialist to take ownership of its day-to-day accounting and monthly close process.

Responsibilities
- Own the month-end close , including journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, including cash, AR, AP, inventory, fixed assets, prepaids, accruals, and deferred revenue.
- Manage hands-on accounting activities including AP, payroll entries, fixed assets, and cash activity .
- Support the annual audit , tax reporting, budgeting, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
- Maintain accurate and timely accounting records within QuickBooks Online .
Qualifications
- Hands-on accounting experience with demonstrated ownership of the full month-end close process .
- Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills required.
- Experience preparing financial statements and performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations.
- Hands-on experience with AP, payroll, and audit support . xhqgsiq
- Self-starter who is organized, responsive, professional, and comfortable working independently in a lean accounting environment.
