Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional coursework or education in accounting, bookkeeping, business, or finance is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Entry-level accounting position
• Ability to accurately process financial records, invoices, payments, or accounting documents.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience using computers, spreadsheets, accounting software, or office applications.
• Ability to organize records, maintain confidentiality, and meet established deadlines.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or office administration experience is preferred.
• Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or similar business systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, financial recordkeeping, or reconciliation procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate professionalism, dependability, accuracy, and strong organizational skills are well positioned for success as an Accounting Specialist.
