The ideal candidate combines accounting knowledge with strong project management and process improvement capabilities.ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementLead and coordinate accounting-related projects, including system implementations and process improvement initiativesDevelop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, milestones, and responsibilitiesMonitor project progress, track deliverables, and ensure deadlines are metIdentify, escalate, and help resolve project risks and issuesProvide regular updates and reporting on project status to leadershipProcess ImprovementEvaluate existing accounting processes across billing, governance, and reporting functionsIdentify inefficiencies, control gaps, and opportunities for automation or standardizationRecommend and support implementation of process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiencyDocument workflows, procedures, and role responsibilities to enhance clarity and accountabilitySystems & Technology SupportPartner with IT on accounting system implementations and upgradesSupport testing, deployment, and post-implementation activitiesEvaluate current systems and recommend enhancements or alternative solutionsEnsure systems and processes support financial reporting requirements and internal controlsCross-Functional CollaborationFacilitate communication between accounting operations, reporting, and technology stakeholdersGather business requirements and translate them into actionable project deliverablesPresent findings, recommendations, and updates to managementQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)2–4 years of experience in accounting, financial operations, or related roleExperience coordinating or supporting projects in a professional settingStrong understanding of accounting systems and ERP platformsExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and stakeholder management abilitiesHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience with accounting system implementations or ERP enhancements (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controlsFamiliarity with process improvement methodologiesProject management training or certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Agile)Core CompetenciesProject Planning & ExecutionProcess Improvement & OptimizationSystems ThinkingCross-Functional CollaborationCommunication & InfluenceAttention to DetailThis position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
