Accounting Policy Manager - 100% Remote Tech Company

Overview

We are partnering with a high-growth, global technology and services company that is seeking a future leader to drive complex transactions and technical accounting. Reporting directly to the SVP Controller, this individual will play a major role in strengthening the company's financial foundation as it continues to scale, offering significant visibility and room for growth. This is a remote role with occasional travel to east coast offices for major milestones (quarterly close, annual audit, large transactions).

Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Additional compensation

• Annual Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Research, document, and draft policies on complex U.S. GAAP topics (revenue, share-based comp, leases, impairments, acquisitions).
• Support audits and close cycles , preparing documentation, guiding responses, and ensuring strong internal controls.
• Drive cross-functional projects across Finance and Operations, enhancing processes and audit readiness.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting or blend of public/industry (ideally with experience on SaaS/Tech clients)
• Expertise in U.S. GAAP and SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606)
• Strong research, technical writing, and communication skills
